Em dash cleaner
Compare a sample before and after stacked em dashes are replaced, while the useful ones stay.
This tool is not connected yet. The result below is the published example, run on the sample above. The editor runs the same rules on your own draft.
The rollout slipped — twice —, and the team knew it. Every release note said the same thing — clear, confident, and —, somehow —, written by nobody.
How it works
Generated prose reaches for the em dash to join two half-thoughts. The cleaner keeps one per sentence and rewrites the rest as the punctuation the sentence actually needs, so the rhythm stops giving the draft away.
Spaced hyphens and en dashes in number ranges are left alone. Nothing else in the text is touched.
